Important News: New Regulatory Guidelines

Two of the main regulators (AHPRA and the TGA) have applied stricter rules around how cosmetic clinics advertise. From March 7th 2024 it was clarified by the TGA that certain previously accepted methods of communicating with patients and marketing are now illegal. The main changes that you’ll notice on this website & Dr Fresh Clinic Instagram include:

1) Advertising prices of treatments is no longer allowed

Prices can of course still be discussed in person during your consultation, but they can’t be given over the phone, listed on a website or sent by email. Please don’t get frustrated with our reception staff if they can’t give you this information – pricing must be quoted within the context of a consultation so that it is bespoke for your own needs.

2) Listing specific treatment areas is no longer allowed

New patients can now book in for a generic ‘New patient consultation’ and Dr Fresh Clinic will perform an in person medical assessment to identify your areas of concern

3) Before and after images that are the result of injectable treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers are no longer allowed to be advertised.
